Potatoes-3 (boiled and mashed)
Carrots-1/2 cup chopped)
Fenugreek (Methi)-1/4th cup (chopped)
Beans-3-4(chopped)
Salt to taste

Oil for frying
Method for veggie fingers:-Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and shape it up like fingers and deep fry till golden in color. Serve with ketchup
Toasted bread with butter 2 slices
Capsicum-1/2 chopped
Onions 1 small onion- chopped
Red capsicum-1/2 chopped
Cheese-20gms grated
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Kissan sweet & spicy sauce-2 tbs
Method:-Mix all the vegetables and add salt and pepper to it. Top each slice of bread with this mixture. Top it up with cheese and bake at 200 degrees for 5-10 minutes, with just the top rod working, till the cheese is melted and golden from top. cut and serve.
For Dough :
Unsalted butter—75 gms–soft
Egg—01 no
Refined flour —125 gms
Salt—03 gms
For Vegetables filling :
Diced mushroom—50 gms
Diced spinach –40 gms
Red bell peppers-50 gms
Yellow bell peppers—50 gms
Green capsicum-30 gms
Mozzarella cheeese —100gms
For Custard:
Cooking cream-250 gms
ggs,whole—02 nos.
Salt—01 pinch
Beat egg with soft butter only to mix. do not over beat.
Add refined flour and salt to it and mix well with a beater to make a dough.
Dust the work table with flour and roll the dough.using quiche mold cut it into round shape.cut a bit bigger than the mold size.
Grease the mold and spread the rolled dough on it compressing from all sides.
In a bowl, add diced mushrooms, spinach , red capsicum, green capsicum, yellow capsicum and mozzarella cheese , and mix well.
When the base is ready,put the above vegetable mixture in it.
To make custard : in a bowl , add eggs and salt and beat . do not over mix.
Now, pour this custard on vegetables and seal the quiche.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees celsius for 25-30 minutes.
1 cup Bengal gram,soaked for 2 hours,( chana dal)
1 onion, finely chopped,( piyaz)

1 cinnamon stick(Dalchini)
2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped, (hara dhaniya)
3 red chillies, dried,crushed(Sookhi lal mirch)
1 tbsp ginger,chopped fine ( adrak)
1 tbsp garlic, chopped, ( lehsun)
2 tbsp rice flour(chawal ka Atta)
1 Tbsp fennel seeds, (saunf)
Oil to deep fry (tel )
salt to taste, (namak)
200 gms coconut chutney to serve, (nariyal chutney)
Soak chana dal for 2 hours and put in the blender.
Add red chillies, ginger, cloves and cinnamon and grind coarsely. If needed add a little water. Make sure the mix ture is dry.
Remove the mixture in a big bowl.
Add onions, garlic, coriander, fennel seeds and salt.
For binding add rice flour and mix everything properly.
In a wok heat oil for deep frying.
Make small dumplings of this batter and deep fry them until they are golden brown.
Remove on a paper towel to soak excess oil.
Arrange the vadai into a serving plate and serve hot with coconut chutney.
Enjoy a bowl of hot corn chaat especially during the monsoon.
Corn kernels :-1 cup

Sev or boondi :-¼ cup

In a pan, deep fry the peanuts in hot oil.
Cut all the veggies.
Now sauté the corn kernels in melted butter for about one minute.
Then add cucumber, tomato, onion, pepper, coriander leaves, salt, chaat masala and lime squeeze.
Mix peanuts, sev or boondion top of this mixture before serving.
Serve immediately.

1)Lucknow: A rape accused’s sister was kidnapped and gang-raped by five men in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district, police said Tuesday.
The victim’s brother was accused of raping a girl on August 25, police said.
Villagers protested Monday night against the incident outside the Kakrauli police station in Muzaffarnagar.
On Sunday night, five men barged into the rape accused’s house and dragged his 16-year-old sister out of the house. They took her along and allegedly gang-raped her. The girl was found Monday in Mirza Tilla.
Earlier, the accused was arrested after a girl complaint against him. The girl was found near Kumheda bridge where she went to commit suicide after the rape.
2)Mumbai: A 25-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly raping a five-year-old pavement dweller in suburban Kandivali here, police said on Tuesday.
The incident took place in the early hours of August 21, when the girl was asleep with her mother and other family members.
She was allegedly picked up, taken to a lane 100 metres away and raped by the accused who knew the victim’s family very well. The CCTV footage of the area shows a man walking away with the girl but his face is not clear.
3)Muzaffarnagar: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly gang-raped by five people at Mirza Tila village in the district, police said here on Tuesday.
The case appears to be a revenge for a rape incident that took place on August 25, involving a girl from the family of the accused, they said.
SP (Crime) Rakesh Jolly told reporters that on the basis of victim’s complaint, an FIR was registered against five including Gulzar, Shahid, Guddu and two unidentified persons in this connection.
4)Kolkata: A referee judge of the Calcutta High Court on Tuesday extended a stay on execution of an order of filing FIR against Trinamool Congress MP Tapas Pal for his alleged insensitive comments against women.
5)Jaipur: A 35-year-old-year woman was allegedly raped by a youth on the pretext of marriage repeatedly for one year near Amber here, police said.
According to an FIR filed by the woman with the Amber Thana yesterday, 25-year-old Ashok Shrivastav, working in a private company in Industrial area here, lured her and allegedly raped her in last one year on the pretext of marriage, police said.
6)Meerut: A 16-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by three youths in Falawada area here.
7)Taipei: A well-known Taiwanese playboy vowed to appeal his conviction Wednesday after he was sentenced to nearly 80 years in jail for raping and secretly filming more than a dozen women.
8)New Delhi: Congress leader Shobha Ojha on Wednesday criticized the West Bengal government for not dealing sternly with kangaroo courts, which she alleged are always giving judgments against women.
9)Maheshtala: A 24-year-old mother of two was allegedly gang-raped and thrown out of a moving auto rickshaw in an unconscious state at Akra in South 24 Parganas district, a Kolkata suburb.
10)Kanpur: A 60-year-old woman was allegedly raped by her son following which he was arrested at Kohna area here, police said.
The incident occurred late last night when Sanjay (40) returned home in an inebriated condition and raped his mother, Superintendent of Police West Harish Chandra said.
New Delhi: A 9-year-old girl was allegedly raped by neighbour’s relatives in Chandni Mahal area of central Delhi.
Police said that the incident took place Tuesday evening when victim, who hails from Bihar, was playing alone outside her house, adding that accused was apprehended.
“Girl’s parents had sent her to Delhi for study four years ago and she was enrolled in a nearby government school.
The accused too had come to a distant relative’s home on a visit and had been staying there for the past few days.
“When girl was playing outside her house, accused reached there and took her to his house where she was raped. During the incident, some locals reached there after hearing girl’s screams and caught him,” said a senior police officer.
Police said the locals roughed him up before their team could arrive at the scene.
Officer added that the medical examination of the victim has confirmed rape.
